Summary: Imagine if "Teen Wolf" had taken a much darker direction, and you see the vision this film had. A nice little hero's journey involving bloodshed, secrets, and of course, the curse of the werewolf.

History: In this world, there are two types of werewolf. The natural pure-breds and the savage, infertile Bitten. Our hero is a boy from a pure-bred family known as Cayden Richards. After he realizes his identity as one of them, he runs away to Lupine Ridge, a gathering hub for werewolves from all walks of life, but mostly the badass biker sort. He finds love with one named Angel and buts heads with a leader of mountain-dwelling Bitten named Connor Slaughter, who apparently assaulted his mom at one point, making him his real father.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: It is revealed that Cayden's mom and Connor were genuinely in love with each other, and they made the whole rape story up to avoid conflicts. Unfortunately, any good bonding between Cayden and his father is ruined when Wild Joe reveals he set everything up to get back at Connor for exiling him for his insanity before killing him. Cayden kills Joe in retaliation, and leaves with Angel to find other werewolves. He does promise to return to the ridge, though.

Powers/Abilities: Transformations occur usually during times of great anger and/or passion.

Weakness: If weakened enough, they will turn back. That, or they can do it on a whim.

Scariness Factor: 4-Few things are more harrowing than seeing a gang of deep-voiced muscle-bound wolfmen coming at you. It helps that the practical effects are fantastic. Connor in particular is a standout specimen, though Cayden is no slouch either. However, a lot of the werewolves are just trying to get by in life, and can be quite sympathetic. Doesn't make them any less dangerous to themselves and others.

Trivia: -Connor was played by Jason Momoa, who has achieved fame through playing as Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones" and Aquaman in DC's cinematic universe. Being a model, he's got a thing for playing as buff and threatening yet surprisingly emotional characters.

-Director David Hayter has apparently turned down several projects with similar premises before this, one of which was called "Slaughter's Road".
